Ojén Council Meeting 26 March 2024

Message from Miguel Marquéz of the PSOE Ojén:

Good morning. At the plenary session held yesterday, March 26, the following points were discussed:

• Election as Regular Justice of the Peace to Mrs. Cristina Osorio Gómez, a woman who has been carrying out extraordinary work until now, as substitute Justice of the Peace. From the PSOE we congratulate her and wish her a term full of success.
• We have voted in favor of the extension for 4 years of the agreement with the Provincial Collection Board regarding management, collection and inspection of taxes and other public income.
• We have also voted in favor of the Anti-Fraud Plan for Ojén. A plan that is mandatory for all public organizations.
• We have asked the government team that, once the position of Principal Justice of the Peace has been appointed, they get to work to convene the position of Substitute Justice of the Peace to be able to make up for possible absences of the Principal.
• The paintings in the Town Hall Plenary Hall, which gave it a cultural touch, were on a free transfer basis and, according to their owner, given the impossibility of contacting the current government team, they have made the decision to, either charge for them, or take them. Hence, their absence.
• We have asked, given the imminent lack of parking that we have in the municipality and the suppression of some of them, how they plan to solve the parking deficit that we have. To this question they have answered that they are negotiating the termination of the Los Llanos parking lot, which was the idea they had before governing, and that they have a dispute with the construction company. In addition, they are going to study making a parking lot in the Multiple Use Building.
